Did not feel like sleeping last night. Ceased conversation with Andu online, and went for a dance workout. I wouldn't really call it a workout, because I enjoy it just so much. Dance... what awesome sensations are felt whilst taking action. Irreplacable. Anyway, not to side track, after the relaxing therapy, I glanced at my bedroom wall and saw the old poster simply hanging there as usual. The pegs on the edges holding it up suddenly struck me... "This has potential to be an earring rack."
Earring rack? How, you may ask. Like this!!!
(I never believed in posting photos on one's blog entry, but I am simply so proud of my creation that I have to show it here...)

Simple cut and paste of a few shoe boxes and pieces strong string worked the magic! Necklaces and the cards behind most earrings are held up via drawing pins, whilst some holes were actually drilled into the cardboard to pin earrings up (see top left corner). It looked a bit like a road side stall selling random-and-cheap-but-nice jewellery, but the display is quite grand in reality. The gap between the hanging strings served a second purpose- the purpose of hanging my awesome head bands that refuse to fit in my storage drawer! There is still more to come, but I have to fix a few things before the full display can be made. Updates shall follow soon.
Also... I shall be leaving tomorrow afternoon to Malaysia, then China. Winter Camp, here I come! I shall be either dancing or doing martial arts for the next 3 weeks, accompanied by tours of 'famous' places around Guangzhou; movie viewing; craft making. I am quite excited about it all, but I still can't be bothered packing for the trip yet. Tomorrow morning? Sounds good.
Hui Hui ^^b
